Gripen Security is developed and owned by EDDBEE GROUP AB (publ), a Swedish limited company based in Gothenburg. The company currently has around 700 shareholders and is registered in the Euroclear system.
By 2026, the company plans to start raising capital, in a step towards a planned listing on a regulated marketplace in Stockholm. The aim is to broaden ownership, increase the capital base and create the conditions for accelerating the launch of Gripen Security on both the Swedish and international markets.
EDDBEE GROUP is active in several consumer-oriented business areas. One of these is the subsidiary My Wine Estate AB (publ), which produces and distributes a wide range of wines and spirits originating from France, Portugal, Italy and Ireland. The products are sold through the state-owned Systembolaget
Gripen Security is a new generation of antivirus software that clearly differs from traditional solutions, both in terms of the basic technological platform and the underlying system architecture. The software is designed to meet the security needs of individuals, companies, organizations and public institutions. In the next phase, the development of a dedicated military version adapted for the defense and security sectors of European countries is planned, in close dialogue with relevant stakeholders.
At the core of our technology is an intelligent cyber defense developed to proactively prevent threats – even in cases where the user makes mistakes, such as clicking on malicious links or opening infected files. Gripen’s system architecture is designed to identify, block and neutralize digital attacks before they take hold, making the software a competitive option in a rapidly growing global market. The solution is flexible, scalable and suitable for both individual users and organizations with high security requirements.

Our business model and strategic plan has been shared to the authority in Västra Götaland, where we have shared the business development and review of implementation.
To establish the architectural structure of the Gripen project, we have engaged a Swedish/European systems development company. Their assignment includes producing an overall technical plan and cost estimates for the software development. After which the coding phase begins.
The more traditional anti-virus component of our system will be integrated via API from established international providers. This allows for holistic and advanced protection, without compromising on ease of use or cost effectiveness.
In preparation for future developments, a global campaign is being launched to provide free software for three years to early adopters, with the aim of attracting + 1 000 000 users in a subsequent offer.
Gripen Security offers an innovative solution for security in an increasingly digitalized world – and we look forward with confidence to the next step in our journey towards a global market.
As cyber threats become more sophisticated, it is crucial that smaller businesses and individuals also have access to powerful, proactive and user-friendly security.
Gripen aims to be developed as a self-thinking security system that offers comprehensive protection via a simple installation – regardless of the user’s technical level.
One of the most pressing threats today is ransomware, where a user accidentally opens an infected file and has their computer locked by attackers who demand a ransom. Statistics show that in 90% of cases, the extortion continues even after payment – without any unlock code being delivered.
Gripen Security is designed to prevent such attacks at first contact. It is a proactive protection that neutralizes the threat before the damage is done – even if the user has accidentally opened a malicious email.
Our business model is based on recurring subscription revenue.
